About 3tien Art project

It’s no coincidence that Bart Decoster started up his art project (3tien art) together with Gustaaf Colruyt. These two have been following each other’s work and passions for more than 30 years. Bart wants to use the knowledge of communication that he’s acquired in order to promote Gustaaf’s art and to share his work with a wider circle of people who can feel an intrinsic parallel or beauty in it.

With this project, Gustaaf Colruyt is letting go of his propensity for reticence when it comes to the outside world without getting the impression that he is no longer able to protect the hard and long process of self-discovery. After all, the artist is given all the space and time he needs to focus on what is important to him. 3tien (bvba), the company that Bart set up together with his wife Tania, takes care of all the rest.

3tien art project also has the ambition to get people better acquainted with buying art online, as well as guiding art lovers through the purchasing process. This is why, in addition to a complete bio on the artist, there is also a short description provided with each statue on the idea (expression?) that the artist is trying to communicate with that particular statue. This is done without trying to be pedantic, but still in the hopes of giving it a potential extra dimension.

All small bronze statues are potential models for life-sized statues (special commission). They are themselves considered to be complete statues, and as such are signed and numbered. 3tien art has every statue moulded separately, which means that it can normally take up to two months to complete one. The quality of the mounting on the ever-varied natural stone pedestals are always created by the artist with the highest level of craftsmanship.

If necessary, additional information can be requested both online and by phone. 3tien art is based in Halle (Brussels). In addition to the virtual gallery, we are also planning to have exhibitions or events at regular intervals at an outside location.
